Above All Else is what the name of this sock means in English. The name itself is in Irish. Another Meagheen Ryan design. Done in a very deep charcoal gray, I'm afraid it doesn't show up well in this scan, altho it's quite nice 'in person'.

Ray's Monthly Blocks

There will, eventually, be 12 blocks from Ray at knitivity.com. These are the first two. Jan is based on the Attic Window quilt setting. Feb is based on the Little Schoolhouse Quilt block. Our senior cat, Harry Potter, had to give his 'paw of approval' to the second block.  :)
