A Hard Day's Work ........

This morning, this wagon load of Hostas was just 3 very overgrown plants ...... there are enough pieces here that tomorrow I'll be lining almost the entire front edge of the property with Hostas........

Latest pair of socks ......

The current pair of socks being worked on ..... sheep in a field of lavender :)

The purple is fingering wool, as is the black. The pink is mohair and the white is a slightly heavier DK acrylic. It was the only 'fuzzy' yarn I had & I wanted the texture for the sheep's body. The mohair is softer & a bit fuzzier than the normal sock wool but not as fuzzy as the acrylic.

Sea Dragon :)

The Sea Dragon is ready to find his new home ..... doesn't he look ready to fly off? Hung from a tree on a brisk spring day, he looked as if he might actually take off if he hadn't been tethered!

I'm very pleased with how this one turned out.

Val's first project

I'm teaching my neighbor, Val, how to knit. Here is her first full size project - an adult sock, stranded pattern, knitted in the round on DPNs.
